AutoCall

The AutoCall capability of the Mini-Seis seismographs is very powerful. Upon receiving a trigger, the seismograph can be programmed to automatically report that one or more events have been recorded. Our AutoReceive software can then be used to process the data in a variety of ways.

The steps required to use AutoCall are very simple:

  1. Program the Mini-Seis to activate AutoCall. Delays can be set in case multiple instruments are used on the same project.
  2. Attach the Mini-Seis to a cellular or comparible modem with internet telemetry service.
  3. Run the AutoReceive software on the computer receiving the data. If using a firewall, it may be necessary to establish rules allowing data to be received from each modem's IP address.

The AutoReceive program will store the waveform events in a folder you specify. The program parameters are based on the unit serial number. It is very easy to specify processing options for each serial number.

The AutoReceive program can automatically send multiple SMS text messages or emails whenever a report is received. Whether or not SMS or emails are sent can be determined by seismic and acoustic trigger threshlods as well as a time range.

Report images can be created, saved to a folder and also automatically uploaded to a remote site. The report can include an FFT frequency analysis or a curves analysis using a built-in or customized curves set .
