Seismic Gains

The standard x2 seismic gain can record vibration levels from 0.005 in/s (0.127 mm/s) to 10 in/s (254 mm/s). Optional gains are available as noted below.

x1 - vibration levels from 0.01 in/s (0.254 mm/s) to 20 in/s (508 mm/s). This option utilizes accelerometers, although velocity is still the output.

x4 - vibration levels from 0.0025 in/s (0.064 mm/s) to 5.0 in/s (127 mm/s).

x8 - vibration levels from 0.0013 in/s (0.032 mm/s) to 2.5 in/s (64 mm/s).

We can also produce transducer packages to measure much lower or higher levels than these. If you have a special need, just ask.

Acoustic Gains

The standard acoustic gain measures airblast levels from 100 dB to 148 dB. An optional high level microphone can be used to record airblast levels from 112 dB to 160 dB.
